Yen Lap Lake - Loi Am Pagoda - Quang Ninh

Location: The Yen Lap - Loi Am Pagoda belong to Dai Yen Commune, Hoanh Bo District, Quang Ninh Province.
Characteristics: Yen Lap Lake is the greatest hydraulic construction in the province. After completion, the water level raised, surrounding the base of the mountains.

Boating across the lake, you come to the remains of the Loi Am Pagoda, which was built in the 15th century on a mountain of the same name. Formerly, it attracted tourists and faithful from every corner of the country. Under the tumultuous periods of Vietnam's history, the pagoda was destroyed but the visitors can find garden of stupas and an incense tree from the 17th century in the immense space of the pagoda. 

Loi Am festivities take place on the 27th day of the first lunar month every year.

Thac Ba Lake - Yen Bai

Location: Located both in Luc Yen and Yen Binh districts, Yen Bai Province.

Characteristics: Thac Ba Lake is not only a beautiful landscape, but it is also a national vestige.

This artificial lake has an area of 23,400ha and 1,331 islands and hills with diverse ecological environments. The water in the lake is blue and clear, and imprinted with the reflections of the surrounding ancient forest.The thousands of hills and islands feature caves such as the Hum, Cau Cuoi and Bach Xa. The Thac Ba Temple always draws visitors.

In 1285, the Thu Vat Battle took place under the command of Tran Nhat Duat against Mongolian invaders. 
There are plans in the works to develop Thac Ba Lake into an ecological tourist centre with entertainment, mountain climbing and hiking.
 

The beautiful waterfall at the foot of Hoang Lien Son - Sapa

Standing on the peak overlooking the waterfall, you’ll find the sticky floor of the ethnic Mongolian looming looming in the mist-thin, the distance are undulating mountain range in dark blue sky.

Sa Pa town is located about 4km south west direction, the station is about 2km Ton waterfall Love commune San Kingfisher Lake. Love Falls is the name by which it kept the area a romantic love story. It is said that the old days, the fairy in the sky often down here cool bath. With wild beauty, waterfall Tac Tinh (Binh Lu commune, Tam Duong district, Lai Chau province) is now rated as one of the beautiful waterfalls in the Northwest, according to Sa Pa town on Highway 4D west over 20km.

Tac Tinh Falls is named by the English Dao, “Work” means the water poured down from on high; “Love” means lagoon or small lake. Derived from the Hoang Lien Son range and over 50m high waterfall Love Author look remotely like a soft silk flying between the mountains of the same message. In any season of the year, in the cool waters still flowing waterfall Work Love continuous, abundant supply of water for the whole region. Therefore, long operation life has been associated with daily cultural activities of the native population.

Binh Chau Thermal Springs - Ba Ria Vung Tau

Location: Binh Chau Thermal Springs are situated in Bung Rieng Commune, Xuyen Moc District, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province

Characteristics: The hot water is used for its medicinal values; water that is 73^oC is led to pools used to cure skin diseases and rheumatism.  

Binh Chau Thermal Springs are located 70km east of Vung Tau City. Covering an area of 1km², Binh Chau Thermal Springs consist of many lakes and ponds joining through an underground pool of mineral water coming from a network of 70 main sources. The water temperature reaches up to 80^oC, a temperature at which an egg can be boiled in 10 minutes.

Binh Chau Thermal Springs belong to a protected area that also features numerous forests, coasts, and lakes. Hotels and restaurants have been built to accommodate visitors who come here for health as well as for recreational purposes.  

Long An Lake - Dong Nai

Location: Long An Lake is located in Buu Long Ward, 6km from center of Bien Hoa City and 25 km from Ho Chi Minh City. 

Characteristics: Long An Lake is a marvelous scenery that is often called Little Halong Bay. 

Long An Lake is an artificial reservoir covering an area of more than 10ha. Buu Long Mountain reflects itself on the water of the lake.

On the mountain is Buu Phong Pagoda built in 1676. Many ancient relics are kept there, such as attires dating back to the Nguyen Dynasty, a Buddha’s head, and lying Buddha statues.

Near the pagoda is Long Dau Thach Grotto, meaning "Grotto of the Stone Dragon Head," where many stalactites with various shapes can be observed.  

Ravishing Noong lake - Ha Giang

About 15km far away from Ha Giang City, Noong Lake is a natural lake with wild scenery, the stream flows along green Noong mountain foot. In addition to romantic landscape, coming to Noong lake, visitors can explore the lives, customs and habits of ethnic of Tay, Mong, Dao.

From Ha Giang province,you have to  pass through forests, mountain villages of Tay, Mong, Dao then will reach Noong lake that is under Phu Linh commune, Vi Xuyen district. Noong lake is situated on mountain range of Tay Con Linh with an area of over 20 ha ( dry season), about 80 ha ( rainy season) and surrounded by limestone mountains, mountain and 700ha covering primitive forest covered extensively over 700 ha.

Local people in Noong 1 and Noong 2 village ( Phu Linh communue) always consider Noong lake as “ eye of forest”. The reason for this special name is smooth and silent Noong lake situated in the heart of four sides of forest.

Noong lake has 2 seasons also creating two different feelings. In the rainy season, the water lake rises, visitors can wander with local people here on canoe or rafts floating on lake surface.

In the dry season, when the water recedes, local people raise ducks on the lake, shimmering lake surface with the shadow of old trees. This scene will offer visitors opportunity to feel about a peaceful  countryside.

Ba Ham Lake - Quang Ninh

Location: Situated on the south side of Halong Bay, Ba Ham Lake is found on Dau Be Island (Calf Head Island) in Lan Ha Bay.

Ba Ham Lake is situated in the middle of a narrow, rectangular area, with the all four sides enclosed by vertical cliffs.

The lake is a system comprising three wide and round pits, linked together by a narrow and meandering tunnel. Stalactites hang from the ceiling in a myriad of strange, coloured forms. The silence is disturbed only by the sounds of the boat�s oars. On the island are many species of plants such as orchids, benjamin figs, banyans and cycads, which blossom throughout the year. It is also the home of yellow-haired monkeys, birds, flying squirrels and bats. Under the deep blue surface of the water are the animated lives of shrimp and fish.

Although 25km from the shore it has long been considered an ideal tourism zone, the entrance is an open semi-circular hole in the flat stone wall on the north-west side of the island, 4 to 5m above the sea.

Starting from the entrance, tourists enter the first tunnel, which boasts a forest of stalactites and stalagmites in different shapes and various colours. They fall down the water surface like the roots of banyan or ficus trees. The deeper one pushes into the tunnel, the darker it becomes. The river is deep yet so clear that one can see shoals of fish swimming. Some 100m from the entrance one finds a shaft of light coming from the roof of the tunnel, which reveals different kinds of orchids clinging to the cliff, cycads growing here and there, truc duoi ga (a kind of reed with cock�s tail-liked yellow leaves) flourishing in clumps. In the southeast cliff of the second tunnel there grows an old carambola tree, which bears fruits all year round. Tourists can find groups of monkeys, flying squirrels, or silver-headed parrots gathering in its branches. Lying one cliff away from the second one, the third tunnel is home to various species of bats and butterflies.

Amidst the tranquil atmosphere, you feel like boating in an abyssal well walled by mountains. Ba Ham Lake is one of the beauty spots of Halong Bay.

 

Ba Ho Spring - Khanh Hoa

Location: Ba Ho Spring is located 25km north of Nha Trang, Ninh Hoa District, Khanh Hoa Province.

Characteristic: The spring has its source on the peak of the Hon Son Mountain, at an altitude of 660m.

The spring flows from the mountain to the sea, three times broadening its bed creating three lakes: Ho Nhat, Ho Nhi, Ho Ba. The natural landscape is of utmost interest, and it is a very attractive sight for tourism...  

Bang Mineral Hot Spring - Quang Binh

Location: Bang Mineral Hot Spring is located 60km south of Dong Hoi City, in Kim Thuy Commune, Le Thuy District, Quang Binh Province.

Characteristics: Bang Mineral Hot Spring has been recorded as the only hot water source in Vietnam with an on-spot temperature of 105^oC.

The mineral water with a composition of many precious elements has become an internationally prestigious mineral water source. In addition, this hot spring is potential for resorts. Investments have been made on several ten hectares of land area for the development of swimming pools, spas, and accommodation and tourist services to make Bang Hot Spring a favorite resort and wellness tourism destination of both international and domestic visitors.
